Bergkamen Facts & Figures
The City of Bergkamen is located on the eastern edge of the Ruhrgebiet area in the Unna district between Dortmund and Hamm, and is at the central core of North Rhine-Westphalia in the middle of Germany. Around 52,000 residents call the city's 44.8 km² home. Bergkamen lies at latitude 51°37' N and longitude 7°38' E with an average altitude of 65-70 m above sea level.
One particular feature of Bergkamen is its outstanding link to international transportation via connections to the motorways A1 and A2 as well as the Dortmund-Wickede airport.
